Riverside Brookfield High School has adopted Character Counts!

Picture
Our school has always infused a robust character education program throughout its academic and extracurricular programs. Beginning in the fall of 2010, we are working with the Character Counts! program which focuses on six pillars of character, as shown on theleft.

Stop in to this website to see how the pillars are being addressed in various classes, sports teams, and individual students.

The daily commentary by CC! founder Michael Josephson is linked from the school's website, and you can also access it here

Service Hours

Students are encouraged to perform public service. Many opportunities are advertised in the Student Bulletin, or are promoted by various clubs and activities. Students may also arrange their own service opportunities, for example through the Scouts, with their church, or with some other organization. Students are invited to submit proof of their service at the end of each semester, using this form. (just download and print the form, fill it out, and have it signed by the adult in charge of the project.) The total number of service hours will be recorded on the student's transcript.
